To all the women in my life who are mothers, I hope you've had a lovely day!
My weekend included spending time with both of my kiddos. This morning, Hannah and I chatted while enjoying a very sunny breezy few hours on the deck. We then went to see my mom (potted blooming flowers in hand) for a few hours.
Curtis, increasingly aware of the way to my heart, gave me a bouquet of mini-tulips (red with yellow edges). Hannah gave me the Willow Tree® Mother and Daughter figurine (seen above). (Meant to represent "Celebrating the bond of love between mothers and daughters.") I love this one! She said when she saw it, she at first wasn't sure. She wasn't sure, because the daughter is small. Then, she said, "I realized that in your mind, I am still small." She gets it.
