I'm Glad to Know I'm Not Nuts

Driving around town yesterday, I notice gas prices had increased...again. I thought to myself, "Self...am I nuts or did the price of gas just go up 20 cents overnight?" I thought that was a huge jump & continued to wonder if my memory of the gas sign the day before was accurate. To my relief, I was right...they did go up that much! WATE confirmed it for me.

The laws of economics might indicate to some that as the price of something goes up, your consumption will go down. We don't have much choice with gasoline, though, do we? I still have to travel the same amount every week. I have the same job, the same route to work, the same errands, etc. I suppose if I were in dire straits, I could entertain the idea of carpooling with someone. Not gonna do it.
