I am Ultra-Gullible

ultra-gull·ible
Function: adjective
extremely easily duped or cheated
ultra-gull·ibil·i·ty noun
ultra-gull·ibly adverb

Historically, there was mention that my picture is beside the dictionary entry for the definition of gullible. Yesterday wasn't the first time I was called gullible. Far from the first time. My own parents know this best. The unique thing is that I was called "ultra-gullible." (by my own boss!) I have been ultra slow on the uptake lately. I'm chalking it up to lack of oxygen to my brain due to my partially collapsed lung.

Just for fun, I decided to create my own dictionary entry. (Sorry, Blogger didn't like the phonetic symbols for the pronunciation keys, so I had to cut them out.) Although ultra and gullible are both in the dictionary, the combination of the two is not an official word. Of course, now that I've "published" this, maybe it will catch on and eventually be picked up by Merriam-Webster. It wasn't my invention, however. Boss gets the credit.

You may be considered ultra-gullible, but I chalk it up to your big heart and your belief that what people tell you is true. You do trust people...can that be a bad thing. I think not. I also know that you are very intelligent and figure it out pretty soon, therefore reducing your ability to be cheated or duped. As I say, I rather trust and believe in people than be skeptical and lack faith.

Speaking of words, do you follow Stephen Colbert - see truthiness. Pretty funny
