My longtime friend Barbara and I went to see this James Bond flick. Good guy goes after bad guys. Lots of action. The movie was long. It was initially hard to follow. It seemed slow at times. Not too much else to say except that Daniel Craig is very hot.

The first action/chase scene it pretty righteous. I wasn't crazy about the new "bond girl" and yes, it was long. New Bond, HOT...as in smokin'. I do think they are trying to make him seem more sensitive and capture the female audience members. I wasn't buying it though. The last few smoochy scenes, trying to show his love and romantic side, were not working for me. I did get lost a few times with all the different people and names.
I actually went to see this a month or so ago with a date. I asked him, in a whisper, a question to clear up some of my confusion and he shushed me. YES, shushed me. Well, that was our last date...after going out for 2 months. I actually refer to that as my "tripping incident" as on that same date I tripped, hurt my toe and all I got from him in an unsympathetic tone was, "that was graceful" and when I said I was hurt "do I need to take you to the hospital?" I digress, however, thought it was a funny story.
Yes, the first chase scene was somethin' else. Smokin'...oh yeah. I was buying the sensitivity thing. Definitely was working for me.
We could just refer to that guy as "Trip." Jerk.
I saw Casino as well and agree with your astute observations. When I think of those baby blues OMG. I had always thought Sean Connery was the man but now. This is the bomb. Looks, acting ability, a little emotion and the swim trunks did me in. Saw it alone so I could focus. It left me in a smiling mood.
