Trying to lose weight?

Among the things I picked up at the store today was a Häagen-Dazs® ice cream bar, a single serving of low-fat chocolate milk and some Cheetos. You know those coupons that automatically print for you based on what you buy? Well, the one I got with this purchase says, "Trying to lose weight? Why not lose more? Save $5.00 on Alli Weight Loss Aid." That was humorous.

If these coupon thingies are so knowledgeable, though, then why didn't they know it rained all day and the only thing I wanted to do was lay on my ass, watch a few movies and have my ham and swiss cheese sandwich with Cheetos and chocolate milk followed by an ice cream bar? Of course, I'm trying to lose weight, but not today.

The next day I picked up things like fish, cereal, dog treats and eggs. I got a coupon for Pledge Dusters. Hmmm...I think I've bought Swiffer Dusters at Kroger before, so this is probably one of those prior shopping trip tracking coupons or something...The other one came from Walgreens---no shopper card there, so no means to track my habits--only look at what I am buying during that transaction. Very interesting.
