I have figured out why I have had such an aversion to blogs: sarcasm. It seems like the vast majority of bloggers use excessive sarcasm as a form of expression. It would be refreshing to see folks exercise the skill of real communication and tell us in a non-offensive manner what they think and how they feel.
I'm not sure where my own blog is headed, but I do hope to avoid sarcasm as a general practice. I do not, however, promise never to use it. It may have a purpose in the future and I don't want to end up being the hypocrite.
